A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry should be held into the T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case considering the revelations of those arrested so far, V. Muraleedharan, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has said.

At a press meet here on Wednesday, Mr. Muraleedharan said the BJP would take out a march in Kannur district on Thursday.

If the government did not take any action on its demand in 15 days, the party would extend the protest to other districts.

He alleged that the Congress-led United Democratic Front got political mileage out of the killing of Chandrasekharan in the recent Neyyattinkara by-election.
