‘Parkal result a slap on the face of TRS’

Telangana Telugu Desam Forum convener, E. Dayakar Rao on Wednesday said the results of the recent by-poll in Parkal was a slap on the face of the TRS, as it had just managed to scrape through.

At a press conference after a meeting of the Forum, Mr. Rao said the TRS should learn a lesson from the results in Parkal and shed its arrogance. If it was keen on achieving separate Telangana it should take all parties with it. Today’s meeting of the Forum focussed on the issues affecting the region, especially farmers, to be taken up with the Chief Minister tomorrow.
