Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir police have decided to install closed circuit TV cameras inside prison cells in the State to prevent Kot Bhalwal-like incidents, where prisoners resorted to pelting of stones.
Jammers will also be installed to block communication with the outside world. Officials said instructions, including the security arrangements to be followed when transporting prisoners to court, had been given.
