KOLKATA: A small chartered executive aircraft swerved off the runway at the Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International airport here and was stuck in the soft soil after landing for refuelling on way to Mumbai from Bangkok on Thursday. Neither the pilot nor the co-pilot was hurt, official sources said.

The main runway of the airport was closed to traffic for a while and the second runway opened for normal operations. Flight schedules were unaffected. The aircraft was later removed to the hangar.
