Mumbai: Amid apprehensions that the city could face load shedding during summer, the Maharashtra Government on Tuesday said people here would have to learn to conserve power if they did not want to face the same fate as the rest of the State.

``Mumbai's power requirement has increased in the past few years because of rapid development. Malls, government offices, private offices and huge hoardings need to reduce consumption,'' Power Minister Dilip Walse-Patil told reporters here. PTI
