Kadavallur Anyonyam, an annual debate involving Vedic scholars, will be held at Kadavallur Sree Ramaswamy Temple, near here, from November 16 to 26.

Seminars, lectures, and debates will be conducted as part of the Anyonyam from November 12. K.G. Paulose, Chairman, Chinmaya International Foundation Sodha Samsthan, Velliyanad, will inaugurate a two-day national seminar on ‘Vedas and puranic traditions' on November 12. C.S. Radhakrishnan, Professor and Head of the Department, Department Of Sanskrit, Pondicherry University, will deliver the keynote address.

Four books — ‘Sasthram Kala Vaidikavangmayam'; ‘Brahmanas: A study'; ‘Sikshavedangam – A study' and ‘Apastambadharmasutram – Grahasthasrama Dharmam'— will be released on the occasion. In all, 20 papers will be presented in the seminar.

Students of Painkulam Rama Chakyar Smaraka Gurukulam will perform ‘Surpanakhankam' koodiyattam on November 12 evening. Former Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac will speak on ‘Relevance of Wall Street Movements' on November 14.

Noted historian M.G.S. Narayanan will speak on ‘Vedic Tradition of Kerala – A Historical Perspective' on November 15.

On November 16, Union Minister of State for Power K.V. Venugopal will address the inaugural function of the Anyonyam. Poet Akkitham will preside.

A veena concert by Anantha Padmanabhan and Anand Kaushik will follow the inauguration. Minister for Cooperation C.N. Balakrishnan will attend the valedictory.
