The Navi Mumbai police on Friday arrested Sundar Pillai, 47, an alleged member of the Chhota Rajan gang.
Pillai, is an accused in 15 cases of murder and extortion. He was earlier a resident of Chembur, but later shifted to Vashi in Navi Mumbai. “We recovered a country-made revolver from him. He had come to meet his wife. He is currently a member of the Chhota Rajan gang,” Raosaheb Sardesai, senior police inspector, toldThe Hinduon the phone.
Pillai has been arrested under the Arms Act and the Mumbai Police Act.
