PATNA: Bad weather in Kathmandu forced an Air Arabia flight from Sharjah to make an emergency landing at the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport here on Wednesday.
The Air Traffic Control cleared landing in Patna for refuelling after flight 537 failed to land in Kathmandu in the wake of weather disturbance.
The aircraft made a safe touchdown amidst an alert with the emergency machinery in place.
Because of immigration norms, none of the 160 passengers was allowed to disembark.
The flight took off once the skies over Kathmandu cleared.
