Rain in Himachal

Southwest Monsoon has been Vigorous over Himachal Pradesh. The withdrawal line of South-west monsoon continues to pass through Kalpa, Hissar, Jodhpur and Nalia.

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places over Himachal Pradesh, at a few places over  and Jammu and Kashmir , Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and at isolated places over Haryana,  east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh.  Weather was mainly dry over rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: (4 cm. and above) HARYANA: Jatusana 6, Kosli 5 and Farukhnagar 4, HIMACHAL PRADESH: Baijnath 7, Dharamsala 6 and Ghamroor and Palampur 4 each, JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Jammu and Kathua 5 each and Bhaderwah 4, PUNJAB: Nangal 7, Shahpurkandi 5 and Malakpur 4, EAST RAJASTHAN: Mount Abu 13 and Reodar 9, WEST RAJASTHAN: Sanchore 20, Bagoda 19, Raniwara 12, Gudamalani and Sedwa 11 each, Bhinmal and Jaswantpura 8 each, Bautu, Siwana, Jalore and Sayla 7 each, Barmer 6, Dorimanna 5 and Sangaria and Ahore 4 each and EAST-UTTAR PRADESH: Fatehgarh 4. 

FORECAST FOR REGION VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 30th SEPTEMBER 2013 : Rain/thundershowers would occur at many places over Rajasthan during next 48 hours and decrease thereafter. Rain/thundershowers would occur at a few places over Uttar Pradesh during next 24 hours and increase thereafter. Rain/thundershowers may occur at a few places over Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Heavy rainfall may occur at one or two places over south-west Rajasthan and south-east Rajasthan during next 48 hours.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 30th SEPTEMBER 2013: Partly cloudy sky. Very light rain/thundershowers could occur in some areas.
