CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Dharwad and Ranebennur (Haveri dt.) recorded one centimetre rainfall each.

On Tuesday the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, fell at one or two places over coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region. Kadapa recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 deg C in the region. Adilabad and Belgaum Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 20 deg C in the plains of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Friday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: Sunny weather.
