Dry weather in Tamil Nadu
CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
Punalur recorded one centimetre rainfall.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, south coastal Tamil Nadu,rose at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.
They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and were generally normal over rest of the region.
Palakkad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius in the region.Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.
Forecast (Valid until Sunday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, north Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
