In view of Makara Sankranti, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate over 500 extra buses on January 14 and 15.

According to a press release, the special services will leave from Kempe Gowda Bus Station, Mysore Road Satellite Bus Station and Shanthinagar Bus Station.

KSRTC has made arrangements to book tickets in advance for the special buses. Passengers can also book tickets online by logging on to www.ksrtc.in

They can also book tickets through mobile phone by sending SMS to 56767.

Advance reservation of tickets for the special and scheduled buses of the KSRTC can be done through 162 counters in Bangalore city, 15 counters in Mysore and 42 counters in Mangalore and 189 counters located at other places in the State, according to the press release.
