The Supreme Court ordered status quo of the property with regard to the Kokapet land dispute case between the State government and heirs of Nusrat Jung Bahadur.
In the orders issued on May 10, the apex court has ordered for status quo to be maintained for 10 weeks — the time given for the State government to file its response for the notices served.
The details were shared with the media in a press conference organised on Thursday by the associates of K.S.B. Ali who claims to be an assignee of the said heirs.
One Subhash Chavali represented Mr.Ali at the press conference.
The said land of 70 acres in Kokapet village of Rajendranagar mandal was auctioned by the erstwhile HUDA (now HMDA) way back in 2006, even while the dispute was on.
