Chef Anirban Ghosh believes European cuisine should be re-interpretations of dishes from across European countries, not a hodgepodge of ingredients thrown together and he practices his art at Chamomile , a European restaurant in Indiranagar. This restaurant is known for its innovative, tasty menu that pairs delightful flavors with unusual indgredients sourced from across Europe. What the chef practices is also preached by the promoters of Chamomile. Manjunath Gopal, co-owner chamomile says, “people come to us for our food followed by service and then ambience we understand the origin of the cuisine and the indgredients before we start weaking it .”
The restaurant derives its name from the chamomile flower which is grown across Europe for its flavor and its medicinal properties.
Gopal says that patrons are served complimentary chamomile tea to stress on the health benefits of chamomile tea and of European cuisine. The menu is laced with French food , Italian and greek salads.
Also on offer are delicious steaks prepared in an authentic manner. A dinner for two excluding beverages cost between Rs. 1000/- to 1200/- when its your mouth, it has to make sence you still have to have some point of view where the reference is and what the flavours are goping to end up being because we prepare dishes which are light, yet heavy on flavor. The restaurant has a fuss-free elegant black and white décor. Which gopal says calms the spirit and yet brightens the ambience . if you want your taste buds to enjoy the flavors of Europe right here in Bangalore, Chamomile is the place to be. #4031,100 ft Rd, Above Bombay Store, Indiranagar, Bangalore-38.
