Planning and economic development and the Sino-Indian border situation will be the two main subjects that will figure in the Bangalore session of the Congress. The Congress Working Committee, at its meeting on December 30, had a discussion on the draft of the official resolutions on these two subjects. There will be another resolution on the general international situation. For four hours the Working Committee, which met in the afternoon, discussed Congress organisational matters. The report of the committees appointed by the Congress Parliamentary Party to consider organisational matters and the report of Mr. K. Hanumanthaiya, former Chief Minister of Mysore, suggesting amendments to the Congress constitution were also considered by the Committee. A spokesman of the Congress Party said that the Punjab affairs did not come up for discussion at the meeting.
