Pensioners asked to furnish life certificate

The Coimbatore Corporation has asked pensioners and family pensioners to submit life certificate to continue dispensing pension.

Of the 495 pensioners, who were asked to furnish the certificate within July 16, only 16 had complied with the orders.

The remaining 479 pensioners/family pensioners should submit the life certificate within August 31, failing which the Corporation without any further intimation would stop payment from September 2012, a release says.
