ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday successfully test-fired a short range ballistic missile, its third missile launch in as many weeks, a statement from the military said. This one is called Hatf 3, also known as Ghaznavi and has a range of 290 km. It was test-fired from an undisclosed location in Pakistan. Like the Ghauri and the Shaheen that were test-fired last month, the launch of the Ghaznavi was also "part of the training exercises of the Army Strategic Force Command," according to the release.
