Tigress escapes from Itanagar zoo, re-captured
A tigress escaped from its enclosure at the zoo here by jumping over a ten-foot wall, according to sources at the zoo. However it was tracked and located by a team of zoo staff led by Range Officer R Flago. The tigress ‘Nang’ was aggressive at first and attacked three attendants but it was caught and tranquilised and is now behaving normally, according to R Flango. The three injured attendants have been hospitalised.PTI
