A workshop for students to make them understand the importance of conserving energy resources was held at Ganga International School and PU College, Nelagadaranahalli.

Making food without fire was the most popular activity conducted on the occasion. Apart from this, the students also learnt how to manage the shortage of energy sources. Managing trustee Anupama Lakshminarasimha and director and principal Parthasarathi Krishna Iyer lauded the active participation of the students.

Felicitation

The birth anniversary of renowned physicist Sir C.V. Raman was celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya, BEML Nagar, KGF, by organising various activities. Science teachers Yashoda and Sulochana were felicitated by V.M. Reddy, principal, BEML Composite PU College, on the occasion. The teachers were presented appreciation letters, bouquets and shawls. School principal R.M. Sokalla was present.
