The Skoda car company museum in the Czech town of Mlada Boleslav has re-opened after extensive renovation.
A total of 117 exhibits from the history of the Volkswagen-owned manufacturer are now on display at the facility some 45 minutes by car from the Czech capital Prague. Renovation took nine months to complete and was directed by the Stuttgart design team Jangled Nerves.
A new display hall on four levels contains 46 significant cars produced since the company began making automobiles in 1895.
Skoda started out manufacturing bicycles and examples of these sold under the Laurin and Klement brands can be viewed too.DPA
