We usually spend our leisure time with books, or sit in front of the television to gain knowledge. Another way to entertain ourselves is spending time with our pets. Pets are our best friends in every way.
Pets, especially dogs, are very useful in dangerous situations. They are ready to sacrifice their lives for their masters.
A few years back, a military dog named in Britain which saved the lives of many British soldiers, was awarded the Dickin medal which honours the work of animals in war.
The first animal to orbit the earth was another dog named Laika; sadly she died while in orbit.
