To a discussion on ‘how prepared is our city to flood situation’, here is a suggestion from a student.

It is the same plight repeating itself every year. Illiterate says, “the water god is angry” and the literate says “it’s because of monsoon”. People living near the banks or the sites which are prone to floods will know the ground reality better. Hence, instead of depending on the government, people should unite together to work out the problem. They can seek help from government to support their measures.
