Otago beat Wolves in opener

New Zealand side Otago defeated the Faisalabad Wolves of Pakistan by eight wickets in the first match of the CLT20 qualifying round at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium here on Tuesday. The Wolves, choosing to bat first, could only manage 139/8 in their 20 overs with skipper Misbah-ul-Haq top scoring with 46 off 34 balls. Skipper Brendon McCullum (above) top scored with an unbeaten 83 for Otago, while Hamish Rutherford (25) and Derek de Boorder (30 not out) played supporting roles.IANS
