Vettel reigns supreme
The results of the Formula One races in September were along expected lines. Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel asserted his dominance emphatically with wins at Monza and Singapore. The wins take him 60 points clear of Fernando Alonso, who finished second in both the races, in the drivers’ standings. With the exception of being booed by the crowd at Italy, Vettel has all reasons to smile with just six races left for the season. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Kimi Raikonnen from Lotus will return to Ferrari to partner Fernando Alonso in place of Felipe Massa next year. While Massa’s next team is unknown, it was also announced that Toro Rosso driver Daniel Riccardio would be Mark Webber’s replacement in Red Bull.
