It was a day when the kindergarteners of the Geetanjali IIT Olympiad School at V.V. Nagar here peddled their way with excitement and enthusiasm for the community expo–2012 on December 8. It was indeed a day out for pre-primary little stars. A whole lot of fun and excitement awaited parents and the friends of the students.

The pre-primary students, dressed up as various professionals, dashed their way out as they enacted along with relevant props. The parents and teachers worked relentlessly to enable the students understand importance of civic awareness. The programme was focused on dignity of labour as each and every professional was important for the existence of a harmonious community. Various professionals such as masons, barbers, vegetable vendors, electricians, cobblers, plumbers and their contributions impressed one and all. The appreciation and goodies by the parents boosted the children’s confidence and proved the age-old saying “tiny drops make a mighty ocean.”
