Speaking at the 15th sports meet of Nalanda Vidya Nikethan here this week, he said the State government was giving a lot of importance to sports, including 2 per cent reservation to sports persons in government jobs. He advised the students to take inspiration from players such as Joythi Surekha, Priyanka and Koneru Hampi, who all played at international level.
The Tejas House with 295 points lifted the winner’s trophy, while Maithri House with 256 points took the second place and Sahana House with 221 points took the third place.
