Chanderpaul's 150th test

As Sachin Tendulkar prepared for his 200th and farewell Test, senior West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul also quietly went about gearing up for his 150th Test, which began on Thursday at Wankhede stadium. Chanderpaul has carried the expectations of the Caribbean islands especially after the retirement of Brain Lara.

West Indies skipper Darren Sammy said,

"In this match, our most experienced player would be playing his 150th game. That is a big milestone for him and for us. It will be overshadowed by Sachin's 200. We, as a team, would go out and work hard for Shiv," he said.IANS
