Dotcom launches political party

Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom launched his Internet Party in New Zealand on Thursday, promising to create more high-tech jobs, protect privacy and deliver faster, cheaper internet to the country. In a 10-point policy agenda the party said it would stop the government from spying on citizens, reform copyright laws introduce a government-sponsored digital currency, and push for New Zealand to become a world leader in green technologies.DPA
