The Davis Cup final between Serbia and the Czech Republic in Belgrade at the weekend will be played on a hard surface, the Serbian Tennis Federation (FTS) announced on Monday.

“The (Davis Cup) final will be played on hard surface in the Belgrade Arena hall” which has a capacity of 15,500 seats, a federation statement read.

It will be the third encounter between the two nations in the Davis Cup. Serbia won the 2010 semi-finals in Belgrade 3-2, while the Czechs were better in the quarter-finals in Prague in 2012 by winning 4-1.AFP
