The Active Bicyclers Association with the Krishna District Youth Welfare Department will organise a cycle yatra to Tirupati where the World Telugu Conference is scheduled for from December 27.

The 23-district cycle yatra will kick start at Srikakulam on November 30. The yatra will pass through Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Annavaram, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Tiruvur, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, Korutla, Nirmal, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, Pamapuram, Kurnool, Pyapoli, Anantapur, Kondapuram, Kadapa, Koduru and culminate at Tirupati on December 25.

The Association will organise rallies at Tirupati and Tirumala to highlight the importance of cycling. Bicyclers will participate in the World Telugu Conference.

Another rally will be organised from Vijayawada to Tirupati from December 18 with a team of 30 bicyclers.

They will pass through Guntur, Ongole, Nellore before reaching Tirupati, according to Association general secretary V. Satyanarayana.
