Following the success of the gold-winning performance in Medellin, Colombia in July, the women’s recurve team won gold again in the fourth stage of the Archery World Cup in Wroclaw, Poland last week. The feat came against the former world champions South Korea in an exciting contest that was on level terms till the end. Deepika Kumari’s performance in the previous stages has earned her a qualification in the final round to be held in Paris in September. She will be the sole archer representing India in Paris, which will be the fourth World Cup final for her.
