The Milwaukee Bucks strengthened their hold on an Eastern Conference playoff spot, while weakening the Los Angeles Lakers’ chances in the West.
Larry Sanders led a balanced attack with a career-high 21 points along with 13 rebounds, and the Bucks snapped their four-game slide Thursday, 113-103 over the visiting Lakers.
Turkish-native Ersan Ilyasova and Brandon Jennings tossed in 20 points apiece, Monta Ellis contributed 18, while Marquis Daniels finished with 16 for the Bucks, who moved to within four games of clinching a post-season appearance.
