After demolishing Barcelona in the Champions League midweek, Bayern Munich have to turn their attention back to more mundane matters: The Bundesliga. On Saturday they take on a SC Freiburg side that is still harbouring ambitions of qualifying for the Champions League play-off stage.

Meanwhile, Germany’s other Champions League semi-finalist - Borussia Dortmund, who were similarly outstanding against Real Madrid - can all but make sure of the runners-up place with a win at Fortuna Dusseldorf. Polish international Robert Lewandowski (picture) is well en-route to winning the Bundesliga scorer charts as he leads with 23 goals from Bayer’s Stefan Kiessling, who has two less.DPA
