Several NCC cadets and NSS volunteers joined hands to preserve and protect an ancient cannon at Allapur Gate in Bijapur on Sunday. The Mustafabad cannon, belonging to the period of Ibrahim Adil Shah II, was in an abysmal state, surrounded by garbage and mud. Around 70 volunteers spent several hours cleaning up the cannon.
