The students of Aravinda School bagged the championship trophy along with many other awards at the national-level competitions organised by the Alama International Society.
The students had to solve 70 to 75 mathematical problems in a span of five minutes using an ‘abacus’ to emerge as winners. Students of Class 4, 5, 6 and 7 were given special training before the competitions.
M. Hari Priya stood first and secured championship while Ayesha Sameera bagged second rank in the sixth level.
G. Venkat Nikhil won the first prize in the fifth level while K. Anand and B. Rajeswari came second in the fourth level. U. Bala Venkat Krishna and T. Pratyusha won in the third level.
In the second level, V. Madhavi and G. Narasimha secured first positions, Md. Abid Bilal stood second and in the first level D. Shanti Vardhan, A. Renuka, P. Veera Manikanta Sai, and B. Jyothi Prakash were the winners. Principal B. Indrani congratulated the students and teachers.
