The 33rd Annual Day celebrations of Vijnana Vihara Residential School, Gudilova, had a host of impressive events such as goose-dimpling pyramids, bicycle feats, jump rolls and horse riding, apart from exhibiting feats on motorbikes and tiger pranks. Events like yogasanas, Chinese sitting and skipping and folk dance were among the events that caught the attention of the audience. Chairman of Vijnana Vihara Committee P.S. Avadhavni lauded the team for taking the initiative and pulling out so many people to perform on the day. The day’s event also included reading of annual report of the school. Chairman of Sri Vishnu Education Society K.V. Vishnu Raju, Sudhakar Reddy, N.S. Sarma and others appreciated the beautiful physical demonstrations on the occasion.
Addressing the students, Govind Sharma said the school should focus on social transformation of the children. He underlined the significance value-based education system. The programme, concluded with prize distribution ceremony and ‘student of the year’ was awarded to the students. — Staff Reporter
