A little over 300 students from various schools in and around Pudukottai participated in the painting competition organised by the government museum recently.

Divided into class groups, they exhibited their skill in the topic dear to them.

Subalax Art Development Centre co-sponsored the event as part of the observance of Children's Day. Of them, 27 students were selected and got prizes along with certificates at the valedictory function.

Renugadevi, a motivator, distributed prizes. N. Mariyappan, founder of the centre, offered felicitations.
