Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh launched his dream project, state-of-the-art training centres for budding cricketers at Pathways Schools in Noida, Balliawas and Aravali in Haryana's Gurgaon district. The centres will be called Yuvraj Singh Centre for Excellence and will provide both outdoor and indoor training facilities to budding players. They will also appoint highly skilled coaches. It is perhaps the first cricket academy to offer indoor facilities like bowling machines, swimming pool and gym. Yuvraj said, “I promise my commitment to this project and to monitor the progress of the kids myself. I am glad to set up such an endeavour for the budding talent pool in India. I wish, as a kid I had got my training at such a place and it would have been tough to get me out of the nets.”
