Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narimedu

To give the campus an eco-friendly greener-look and to commemorate NCC Day, the NCC wing of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narimedu, Madurai, organised a tree plantation in the school campus. As many as 25 saplings of various trees, including neem and punga trees, were planted on the occasion. The maintenance work would be entrusted with cadets, who would be watering the plant on rotation basis. The saplings were supplied by the Department of Forests. P. Mohan, Member of Parliament, was the chief guest. The principal, V. Rajagopal, presided over the function. G.S. Murugan, NCC Officer, and other staff members made the necessary arrangements.
