The office-bearers of the Interact Club of Sri Jnanakshi Vidyaniketan, Rajarajeshwari Nagar were installed at a ceremony held recently. Assistant district governor of Rotary Club K. S. Nagendra pinned the badges to the new members.

The students then presented a skit in Kannada. The skit depicted the students’ role in protecting the environment and making the surroundings greener. It can be achieved only by planting more saplings, it said. District governor of Rotary Club U. R. Bhat released souvenir brought out by the Interact Club of the school. He said that students must plan well to achieve success in their life. "Have faith in your abilities and achieve your goals through hard work, dedication and discipline," Mr. Bhat said.

He told the teachers that the real challenge lies in bringing up the performance of a student, who is considered weak either in studies or co-curricular activities. School secretary Hayagreevachar and administrator K. R. Dwarakanath were present.
