It was a colourful evening that showcased the different talents of the students. Visakha Valley School celebrated its annual day with a host of programmes at Gurujada Kalakshetra recently. The day was marked with a fine show put up by students of LKG to Std. XII. The musical performance enthralled the audience. The cynosure of the evening was the fusion dance ballet, "Dasavatara", in Odissi style that vividly portrayed the ten avataras of Lord Vishnu signifying the triumph of good over evil. The lively dance number "Mera naam chin chin chu" by the children of LKG and UKG held the audience spellbound. The invocation dance to Lord Ganesha, flower dance, "Visakha Ki Pranathi" added zest to the day's celebration. Telugu and English playlets brought out the histrionic talents of the students.The chief guest for the occasion VUDA Vice Chairman G.Venkataram Reddy urged the students to become nation builders and develop managerial skills to compete with each other in this globalised world. He released the school magazine "Madalasa" and gave away the prizes. The school principal Sharda Reddy welcomed the guests and presented the annual report.
