Mysore: Meet Anagha, a whiz on the computer.
V. Anagha has done herself and her school proud by securing the first rank for the State at the International Informatics Olympiad 2011 organised by the Computer Literacy Foundation, New Delhi.
A Std. IV student of Notre Dame School, Mysore, Anagha also achieved a national ranking of 66 in an examination held to test and assess a candidate's proficiency levels in computers.
The examination enables students to judge themselves and identify their proficiency levels at an international level as the CLF, which conducts the tests believes that local or regional scores does not provide an accurate assessment of an individual's abilities in a globalised world.
She has a flair for working on computers to which she was introduced in school where it is taught as a compulsory subject. In addition to dabbling with computers,
Anagha is also into painting and drawing apart from learning Carnatic music.
