A V Education Society, JP Nagar, celebrated its 39th annual sports meet recently. Badminton referee R. Suresh Kumar was the chief guest and basketball referee M. K. Narasimhan was the guest of honour. Mr. Suresh Kumar highlighted the value of games in one's life and told the students to continue their interest in sports. The benefits of sports were many and students must take time out to play. The day began with a rhythmic march past in which the three houses Aurobindo, Tagore and Vivekananda participated. The school band led the march past. There were a variety of games. Running races, three legged race and frog jump were some of the track events conducted for high school and primary section students.
