Self-confessed Indophile

HER saucy looks and naughty eyes still twinkle at her age. Hollywood actor, GOLDIE HAWN who turned 60 years recently, can still put many to shame with her sense of humour and style. On yet another trip to India, Hawn said she loved the country and each time felt her visits were too short. "But I make it a point to always visit some new city. This time it is Madurai where I shall be going after Goa." A self-confessed Indophile, Hawn loves everything Indian - "the food, the people the cities" - and seemed oblivious to the chaos around her. "I have a lot of friends here," she quips. Talking about her work, Hawn said she was working on her second book, tentatively titled Joy. "It is a travel book and I shall visit loads of places for that," said she. Meanwhile she is enjoying being her age. Ask her about it and she shrugs, "It is inevitable why not enjoy it?"
