The National Academy of Construction (NAC) and NALSAR University of Law would be commencing contact classes programme of ‘Graduate Diploma in Building & Infrastructure Contracts and Real Estate Management' under Distance Education mode, on Saturday.

For the commencement of these classes at Lecture Hall, Contractors Development Institute of NAC, the Minister for Law and Courts, E. Prathap Reddy would be chief guest and the guests of honour include Veer Singh, Vice-Chancellor Madabhushi Sridhar, Registrar of the NALSAR University of Law apart from NAC Director General, F.C.S. Peter.

The State Chairman, Builders Association of India, P.Mohan Reddy and Contractors Development Institute Chairman, N.Sachitanand Reddy would also be participating in the event. The graduate diploma, an interdisciplinary programme of studies has been designed considering the requirement of engineers, contractors, students of engineering/ architectural colleges, architects, real estate developers and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Built with the concept and methodology of law, engineering and management, it aims to develop mature and responsible engineering professionals with the sufficient knowledge of relative laws governing the building and infrastructure contracts and real estate management.

The graduate diploma course comprises 96 contact teaching hours with five papers spread over one year. The subjects for the course include ‘Building and Infrastructure Contracts', ‘Special Contracts', ‘Corporate Law', ‘Industrial and Social Security Legislations' and ‘Transfer of Property Act and Registration Act'.
