Reliance Communications appoints Gurdeep Singh as President and CEO for Wireless Business

Reliance Communications today announced the appointment of Gurdeep Singh as President and CEO of its Wireless Business. Gurdeep will be responsible for leading Reliance Communications Wireless Business to achieve higher revenues and profitability.

Additionally, Gurdeep Singh will also be a member of Reliance Management Board (RMB).

Speaking on the appointment, Gurdeep Singh said, “I am delighted to be a part of the Reliance Group and look forward to an exciting journey in taking Reliance Communications Wireless Business to greater heights”.

Gurdeep Singh has experience of 29 years and has worked in sectors like telecom, home appliances and consumer electronics.

Prior to joining Reliance Group, Gurdeep was the Chief Operating Officer, India, with Aircel. He has also worked in Hutch (now Vodafone) as Director – Operations, North, for about five years.

Invensys appoints Terence Chan as General Manager, Asia Pacific business operations

Invensys Operations Management, a global provider of technology systems, software solutions and consulting services to the process and manufacturing industries appointed Terence Chan as the General Manager for Asia Pacific business operations. In his role, Terence will be responsible for all direct and indirect sales, delivery, in-country leadership, strategic sales centres, regional marketing and communications, engineering delivery, projects and consulting services and enterprise client executives and client executives.

Terence has over 32 years of experience across finance, market development, sales and general management, with a strong solutions background across many industry verticals. He joined Invensys in 2009 as Vice President and Managing Director of the company's ASEAN, Japan and Taiwan operations.

Prior to joining Invensys, Terence was the President of the Asia Pacific and Japan Region of Mircrostrategy, a global leader in business intelligence technology.

He also served as the Regional Managing Director, East Asia, in Siebel Systems, he has held key leadership positions in SAP, a global enterprise systems technology leader, for over a decade where he was the Executive Vice President and Managing Director, South East Asia.

Tata Coffee Limited bags the FE-EVI 'Green Business Leader' award
