Watermelon and ginger lemonade

No other fruit is as crunchy and thirst quenching as a watermelon. The reason is that the fruit is rich in electrolytes like sodium and potassium that we lose through perspiration. Watermelon has a special cooling effect and is exceptionally high in citrulline, an amino acid that our bodies use to make another amino acid, arginine, which is used in the urea cycle to remove ammonia from the body.

Lemon juice, which not only refreshes you but also provides amazing health benefits, is rich in Vitamin C acts as an anti-oxidant helping prevent wrinkles, sunburn and fights free radicals which can cause blemishes and acne

Ingredients

Watermelon Juice: 100 ml

Diced water melon: seeded 50 gram

Sugar syrup: 20 ml

Ginger Juice: 5 ml

Lemon Juice: 10 ml

Club soda: 50 ml

Mint leaves: 2 Numbers

Method

Combine watermelon juice, club soda, lemon juice, sugar syrup and ginger juice Top it up with diced watermelon, mint leaves and crushed ice. Serve chilled.
