FILM The cast of the remake is yet to be finalised

Producer Suresh Kondeti has acquired the remake rights of recent Tamil hit Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam ( VVS ). The remake is set to go on floors soon with a cast yet-to-be finalised. “The story will be tweaked for to suit the nativity of the Telugu audiences,” says Suresh.

VVS , which released on September 6 in Tamil Nadu, turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year in Tamil. Directed by Ponram, VVS had Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. Sri Divya, Soori and Sathyaraj were also seen in important roles. Kondeti, known for producing Telugu-dubbed versions of Tamil films, will be producing a remake for the first time. He has also acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of the recently released Tamil drama Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer .
