Television ‘Fast N Loud’ showcases restoration of classic cars

In the 1950s, America was a virtual graveyard of classic cars. Across the country, vintage vehicles are still found rusting in overgrown fields and musty garages. From ‘57 Chevys to ‘73 Trans Ams, these machines are waiting to be brought back to life. For Richard Rawlings and his crew, these cars are a goldmine waiting to be excavated.

Motor mastermind Richard Rawlings and mechanical prodigy Aaron Kaufmann of the Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, Texas, search the back-roads of USA for derelict classic cars to overhaul and turn into cash. In the new series Fast N Loud, they search barns and open fields for that one rare ride to choose and restore.

Richard is the man with the eye, gifted with spotting rare finds while Aaron is the master mechanic who decides if these relics are too far gone or are the perfect basis for a Gas Monkey overhaul.

The series will air on Discovery Turbo, Monday to Friday, beginning February 4 at 10 p.m.
