Play time A story about a middle class girl

Samasthi, an amateur theatre group will stage a comedy “Miss Sadarame” on November 13 at 7.30 p.m. The play written by K.V. Subbanna is directed by Manjunath L. Badiger, a graduate from Ninasam. The venue is Ranga Shankara and the tickets are priced at Rs. 50. The show is organised by Nataka Bengluru.

Subbanna improvised the story of Sadarame, which was originally written by Bellave Narahari Shastry and called it “Miss Sadarame”.

The story is about a middle class girl, Sadarame. A prince is attracted to her and wants to marry her. He sacrifices his kingdom to his greedy father-in-law and leaves the kingdom with his new wife. Faced by unknown challenges, the play is about how Sadarame escapes all her troubles through her intelligence.
